Our Story
LUSEO Group was founded in 2004 by Mehdi Bouayad, a former Bouygues construction executive. During his tenure managing international development projects at Bouygues, Mehdi observed that is was difficult to find cost-effective engineering services for complex projects located in logistically challenging offshore destinations. Mehdi’s vision was to create a new breed of engineering consulting firm, and LUSEO Group was born.
Shortly after founding the company, Mehdi convinced his long-time colleague Xavier Descotte – also a former Bouygues executive – to join him in the mission to expand LUSEO Group into a global engineering company. Mehdi and Xavier spent the majority of their time in LUSEO’s early years in two distinct areas:
LUSEO Group’s reputation has helped us expand into new markets including Africa, Asia, and the Americas, as well as offer additional engineering services including full structural and site/civil capabilities. Today, our 250+ employees throughout the world help us deliver value-added engineering solutions to architects, engineering firms, contractors, developers, and building owners. Our clients return to us again and again because of the value proposition that we bring to the table.

2. Putting in place the offshore infrastructure to ensure that LUSEO could be cost-competitive with larger international engineering firms.
